Our Story
True Crime PhD was born from a deep fascination with justice and the human stories behind it. My inspiration comes from my dad and papaw—men the world may have labeled as criminals, but whom I saw as intelligent, fearless, and complex. Their lives taught me to look beyond the headlines, question the narrative, and seek the truth others overlook. Through my work in crime podcasts and newsletters, I honor their legacy by shedding light on both sides of the justice system—those accused and those seeking justice. In memory of two fearless men, William (moe) Moses and Joseph Moses.
